Molins PLC renamed Mpac Group plc

Group businesses Langen and Molins Technologies will both be known as Mpac Langen.

The board of Molins plc announces its change of name and brand style and that of its Group businesses. As a result of a re-naming process following the sale of the Molins Instrumentation & Tobacco Machinery business in August 2017, shareholders voted in favour of the resolution to change the name as a positive step forward.

The name ‘Mpac’ was chosen as a name grounded in the Company’s rich heritage, focused on the future as a global leader of high-speed packaging solutions and is an important element in the Group’s transformational process.

Bringing together existing group businesses to trade under one brand supports its commitment to provide ingenious packaging solutions to target pharmaceutical, healthcare, nutrition and beverage markets.

The sale of the Instrumentation & Tobacco Machinery business last year was instrumental in supporting Mpac Group’s growth strategy so they can now focus 100% on target markets.

Sustainable growth will be driven across these markets by investing in the development of new products and services to be delivered through their regionally focused sales and service teams.

Mpac Langen is determined to transform the way that global consumer goods companies procure packaging solutions from a slow, complex and risky process into an easy, collaborative, long-term partnership built on mutual respect, as the industry currently makes it confusing, costly and time-consuming.
